It’s Day 14.
I am following the Stone Evans 30 day success guide. I am up to Day 10.
Let me introduce myself. I am Graham Bridgman, a business accountant I have a very demanding day job and a 4 hour round trip to get to there and back. That means I have about 15 minutes on my internet business to work each week day. I need to catch up at the weekends. I love playing with computers but I am not the most skilled writer.
The challenge today is to write a short article on building a home based internet business to make money from home. It needs to be unique, interesting, offering some useful tips and full of keywords. I remember someone once said we learn from our experience but we can learn more from the experience of someone else. Here is your chance to learn from mine developing a plug in profit web site.
My successes & mistakes
I lost several days at the beginning. I used my tried and tested supplier of domain names and then found it difficult to move it to host4profit.
I have a really good hosting service I use it for another internet business, my professional web site, to advertise my Spanish apartment, etc. There is one monthly fee for unlimited web sites and I have 8. I was loath to follow Stone’s advice and go to Host4Profit. The good news is I did.
Another great success is the free traffic generator you can find on my site. You get credits by loading the start page. I put it second. You can make more credits by clicking on sites there. You then use the credits you have gained as payment for your own ads.
I have to make sure I do not get distracted from the important and urgent in order to play with the fun. I will try and do the fun things at lunch time at my day job.
Overall 10 out of 10
I am really pleased. After the first initial blip above, I am finding it easy to use. Today I started a blog on blogger.com. I changed the template so it matches the rest of the site. I also transferred to my website.
For now back to day 11
