When considering which profession to choose, keep in mind the ages of your children. Regardless as to how old your children are if they live at home with you, you will need a schedule. Working from home does not always mean that you can work any hours, especially if you have a family.
When working outside the home you wake up at a certain time, get your children up and ready, take them to school or daycare, and then head off to your job where you work a certain number of hours. Some even employ the services of a babysitter or utilize daycare while working. Some who have a daycare in their home, (as their profession) choose to keep their children at home with them and allow them to play with the other children being watched.

Having your children outside of the home does not always mean that they have to go to daycare.
